Southwest Behavioral Health

The Southwest Behavioral Health Center in St. George, Utah qualified for Universal Service Funds to expand its telemedicine program with the aid of Rural Health Telecom.

Southwest Behavioral Health Center is using the money to enhance its services in the areas of videoconferencing, transmitting still images, and offering such e-health services as patient portals and remote monitoring of vital signs throughout Washington, Kane, Garfield, Beaver, and Iron counties.

RHT assisted Center administrators in creating a cutting-edge telecommunications plan needed to obtain money under the Rural Health Care Program.
